Trivia Night Celebrates 10 Years

Laughter and smiles filled CBC High School as guests arrived for the 10th Annual Friends of Kids with Cancer Trivia Night on Friday, January 27th, 2012. The sold-out event raised more than $15,000 for the organization and programs that helps kids with cancer... be kids. The evening honored Jake Franzel, a 17-year-old high school senior who lost his battle with cancer the night before the event.

Host Guy Phillips, from Y98, introduced a very special 'princess' to start off the trivia as his comedic personality got everyone rallied for round one of "Minute to Win It" Trivia. There is no question that guests enjoyed the food and drinks, trivia, and each others' company, but mostly that they were all there to support the kids and families, while honoring Jake that evening.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their contributions to the 10th Annual Friends of Kids with Cancer Trivia Night: Moneta Group, Y98, Anheuser-Busch, Inc., Mount Pleasant Estates, CBC High School, Abigail's on DeMun, Ameristar, LOHR Distributing Co., Ron Ruzicka, Grey Eagle Distributors, CC's Notes, The Missourian, and William and Carol Taylor.

Special thanks to Mike Bartoni of CBC High School and our Trivia Night Chairs, Susan Miller Warden, and Christine Sadler!

We hope to see you at next year's 11th Annual Trivia Night!
