Winter Wonderland
Just like the magic from the North Pole, the ordinary Conference Center at St. John's Mercy Medical Center is transformed into a Winter Wonderland. With a buffet line that spans an entire wall, Santa himself, clowns, magicians, Karen Mary Karaoke and even a real live reindeer, its no wonder that this event continues to grow among patients and their families. 2008 attracted the biggest crowd ever!
Cindy and Alan Woods do an amazing job putting this event together, which is no easy task. Coordinating all the entertainment alone, with everything from real arcade games to sno-cone machines, would be daunting. But we have such a great working Board and network of volunteers that it always comes together just right.
