Patient & Family Parties

Many times a year, Friends of Kids with Cancer holds private parties open to the whole family of every patient, regardless of health status. We hold events for back-to-school, Halloween, winter holidays, and more, at popular venues around St. Louis like The Magic House and Grant's Farm.

Each party is unique, but they all accomplish the same task: letting the children escape into being a typical kid. They can run around and have fun while the parents get to relax and share their experiences with people who understand their circumstances. At each event, Friends takes care of all their needs cost-free: admission, food and drink, and games, prizes, and toys for the kids to take home.

Parents are often stressed by trying to lead a happy life while juggling multiple medical appointments and bills, so trips and excursions like these aren't often possible. Families have driven from hours away just to come participate in a free, fun-filled time. Whether it's a haunted hayride or the arcade games at the Winter Wonderland, families have a day to remember.
